The Turexpo Galicia and Festur fairs will once again be a meeting point for the tourism sector from 8th to 11th of June

  • BOTH EVENTS WILL COMBINE AN ATTRACTIVE EXHIBITION AREA, AN INTERESTING PROGRAM OF ACTIVITIES AND A RECOGNIZED BUSINESS MEETING PROGRAM.

Silleda, February 2023.- The Tourism Fair of Galicia, Turexpo Galicia, and the Festivities of Tourist Interest Fair, Festur, will be held again jointly with the aim of creating an attractive space of synergy for the tourism sector. It will take place from 8th to 11th June at the International Fair Exhibition Centre (Silleda, Pontevedra).

These events will again take place in parallel with the International Fair Abanca Semana Verde of Galicia, to create synergies with this emblematic multisectoral event, which this year celebrates its 45th edition. This offers an attractive proposal for both exhibitors and visitors, which exceeded 95,000 last year.

Turexpo Galicia, which reaches its 12th edition, and Festur, which reaches its 9th edition, are preparing for this new event that will combine an interesting exhibition area, a program of activities especially dedicated to the Festivities of Tourist Interest and an important Tourism Business Meeting Program.

A business formula that has the support of the Tourism of Galicia Agency and that aims to continue with the good progression of this event in recent years, with very good results in a date still very affected by the pandemic as it was 2021 and record figures in 2022: 9% more exhibitors and an area 23% larger compared to its previous best edition, that of 2019.

Tourism Business Meeting Program

This B2B meetings program of Turexpo Galicia will once again become an unbeatable commercial platform, which has already led to tens of thousands of meetings and facilitated successful business deals. In 2022 hosted 2,100 meetings with 35 tour operators from 11 countries.

Thus, the organization is already working to have a significant number of both national and international tour operators, incorporating more from emerging countries as outbound tourists to multiply business opportunities. This participation will be an important opportunity for the companies, showing their proposals through pre-scheduled meetings according to the preferences of both parties.
